Founded in 1959 by Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Childhelp works to prevent and educate children about child abuse and neglect, combined with the healing programs to help those children who have already endured sexual, physical or emotional abuse, the organization of Childhelp has benefited over 10 million children to date. While this is a substantial number of children who have been helped or healed from abuse, there are so many more children who need Childhelp's services.
Programs
Childhelp provides a broad continuum of child abuse prevention and treatment programs that directly serve children and their families. This includes facilities that care for some of the nation's most severely damaged children. Several of our programs were "first," which continue to be studied by professionals worldwide as models that work.

Childhelp is very proud to continue to honor the legacy of Rich Saul with the tournament name, the Childhelp Rich Saul Memorial Golf Classic. Rich, who passed away in April, 2012 from a long battle with leukemia, was a supporter of the Childhelp golf events for 30 years, lending his celebrity as a Los Angeles Rams player and serving as the Honorary Chairman for many years. With the development of the Men's Corporate Sponsor Golf Committee in 2007, Rich helped to spearhead the efforts of the Orange County Chapter of Childhelp to raise over $5,000,000 over the past 13 years - a truly HUGE effort!
Join us at the Childhelp Rich Saul Memorial Golf Classic as we do what we can to change the lives of little ones by bringing together the Orange County community and beyond for a great day of golf, networking and entertainment in the support of the programs of Childhelp.
